Qian Zhang (Tina) is a Ph.D. candidate at Renmin University of China. She specializes in the Philosophy of Science and Technology, focusing on philosophy of biology and complexity science. In 2020, she completed an M.Eng. in Materials and Chemical Engineering at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She also holds a B.S. from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (2016). Her work focuses on the levels and integration of biological complex systems, including complexity science methodology and the concept of levels. Her other interests include systems theory and the empowerment of biological integration by Artificial Intelligence, specifically how AI tools empower new methods for integrating complex biological data and promote a holistic understanding of living organisms.
