Mingjun ZHANG is an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy of Science and Logic, School of Philosophy, Fudan University.

He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Michael Weisberg, and was trained as a philosopher of biology.

His recent work concerns philosophical issues in evolutionary game theory and a wide range of topics in the philosophy of biology, including debates about adaptationism, the nature of natural selection, as well as modeling and explanations in biology.

He has published several articles in esteemed journals of philosophy of science, including Biology & Philosophy, Studies in History and Philosophy of Science, and Public Understanding of Science.
